TEETH WHITENING

Teeth whitening is a technology that removes stubborn pigmentation underneath the enamel. It uses a bleaching agent that can easily penetrate the enamel to break down stains.

How Does Teeth Whitening Work?

Your dentist applies the whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide on your teeth. And after applying safe UV rays to catalyze the process, the particles of the gel begin to move faster. Once the bleaching gel penetrates the enamel through its pores, it begins to chemically break down stains.

How Long Is Teeth Whitening?
Teeth whitening is a process that lasts around 1 to 2 hours. But the results are very long lasting.

Teeth Whitening Aftercare
Aftercare is not demanding after teeth whitening. Brush, floss, and use mouthwash routinely. And to maintain the results for the longest time; stay away fil staining products and foods.

Is At-Home Teeth Whitening Safe?
Absolutely not. At home teeth whitening kits use one-size dental trays that can be too big for some and too small for others. This cause the bleaching gel to touch areas of the mouth it shouldn’t. If you’re not a dentist you’re not qualified to using teeth whitening kits. There is a certain amount of gel you need to use and a particular period of UV exposure. In most cases, teeth whitening kits result in irreversible dental damage.

HOLLWOOD SMILING

Because your smile is your strongest asset, you need to make sure it’s perfect. Among the most effective treatments for beautifying the smile and ticking off all the right boxes is the Hollywood Smile.

This procedure uses film-like covers to correct all issues. Whether pigmentation, chipping, & shape-related issues. It’s long-lasting, effective, & most importantly natural looking.

The secret to a beautiful smile makeover is custom smile design. A good dentist will ensure that your smile design for the Hollywood Smile is unique to you.

Hollywood Smile Types

1- Veneers

Veneers are porcelain films with a thickness that varies between 0.5 mm to 2 mm. They are fitted on the front part of the tooth to cover all defects. Because veneers are relatively thick, your dentist will have to file down your enamel to make room for the veneer.

Porcelain is an element that behaves exactly like natural teeth with decent durability and strength. It can give the smile an authentic appeal due to its ability to be color-matched.

Advantages of Veneers

Suitable for deep pigmentation,

Natural results

Corrects minor to intermediate alignment problems

Corrects chipping

2- Lumineers

Lumineers are ultra-slim films with a 0.3 mm thickness that resembles lenses. Lumineers are made from porcelain but despite their thin structures come with great durability.

Because they’re slim, your dentist doesn’t have to file down your enamel or teeth to fit the films.

Advantages of Lumineers

Durability and strength

Suitable for minor pigmentation

Keeps the enamel intact

3- Zirconium

Veneers made from zirconium have chemical traits similar to titanium. Their durability and strength are unparalleled and so is their light transmission.

Zirconium veneers are unique in the way they reflect light which allows them to provide very natural results.

Depending on the thickness of your zirconium veneers, your doctor may or may not file down your enamel.

Hollywood Smile Procedure

Before placing your Hollywood Smile, there will be a treatment period. This period is essential to make sure your Hollywood Smile is placed on a healthy dental structure. To examine your mouth thoroughly your dentist will use x-rays. If inflammation,  gum disease, or cavities are present, your dentist will deal with them first.

In your next visit, your dentist will file down your teeth if necessary. This aspect depends on your choice of Hollywood Smile. For example, with Lumineers, this step isn’t necessary.

Following this, your dentist will have your bite down on mold to get impressions of your mouth. They will also color match your Hollywood smile and send this information to an off-site laboratory.

In a few days, you’ll get your custom-built Hollywood Smile and your dentist will cement the structures into place.

Hollywood Smile Results

The results of the Hollywood Smile procedure are instantaneous. The smile transformation will be drastic and completely unique to you.

The lifespan of Hollywood Smile is around 15 years with good aftercare.

Hollywood Smile Aftercare

Caring for your Hollywood smile is one of the secrets to life-long results. And luckily it’s not demanding.

You should care for your Hollywood Smile the same way you would your natural teeth.  Brush twice per day, floss, and use antibacterial products. It’s important to prevent food and plaque build-up.

Another thing to keep in mind is not applying pressure to your teeth. Do not use your teeth to open objects because this can break your teeth. As a rule of thumb, anything that would break your natural teeth would break your veneers.

Do I Need to Change My Diet After Hollywood Smile?

Not necessarily. But it’s better to avoid staining products such as red wine and cigarettes. This ensures that the glow of your Hollywood Smile stays for the longest time.

Other than that, your Hollywood Smile won’t stop you from eating your favorite foods and snacks.

How Long Does Hollywood Smile Procedure Take Generally?

It takes around 3 to 5 days until your Hollywood Smile placement.

DENTAL BRIDGE

Dental bridge is a restorative treatment with versatile applications that replaces gaps between teeth with natural looking prosthetics. The structure comes in many forms and is applied differently depending on the area in the mouth.

1- Traditional Dental Bridge

A traditional dental bridge consists of 3 to 4 consecutive crowns. To be suitable for traditional bridges you need to have healthy teeth at the end of each gap. Or even dental implants. Why? Because your dentist cements the crowns on the tooth or dental implant on both ends. So if the dental bridge consists of 4 crowns, then two will go in the middle replacing the gaps. Whereas the last and first will be cemented over neighbour teeth or implants.

The traditional dental bridge is most suitable for teeth at the back.

2- Maryland Dental Bridge

The Maryland dental bridge comes in the form of a tooth with wing-like metals on each side. Marlyland bridge replaces a gap and holds its anchor by cementing it’s wings on the back of the teeth adjacent to it. Similar to traditional dental bridge, you need to have teeth or dental implants on either side of the gap.

Maryland bridge is best for teeth on the front that are visible when you smile. This is because they don’t have sufficient force to handle the pressure molars do.

3- Cantilever Dental Bridge

With a cantilever bridge the structure comes in the form of a tooth attached to a dental crown. The tooth replaces a missing gap and gains anchor by cementing the adjacent crown on a neighbour tooth or a dental implant.

A cantilever dental bridge is best for teeth near the canines or canines themselves. They’re only suitable if you have only one missing tooth.

They’re not suitable for the back teeth because the pressure and force is immense on the molars. In other words, cantilever dental bridge can’t handle this force.

Procedure Of Dental Bridge

Procedure begins by your dentist first evaluating your oral health. You need to be clear of any underlying issue before placement of dental bridge.

Next comes the evaluation of your mouth and missing teeth. You need to have teeth at each end of the gap. If not your doctor will suggest getting implants beforehand. Because traditional dental bridges need to be cemented over dental implants or natural teeth.

Then comes the step of choosing material for your bridge. We have a comprehensive collection. Our dentists will recommend the best material for you according to the following:

  • History of allergy
  • Price range
  • Aesthetic goals

After this our dentists will take impressions of your mouth and send these details to a manufacturer. In a few weeks you can get your customized dental bridge.

Longevity Of A Dental Bridge

A dental bridge as a maximum longevity of 15 years, similar to dental implants. But many factors such as improper care and poor dental hygiene can all impact the lifespan of a dental bridge.

Benefits Of Dental Bridge

A dental bridge is a restorative treatment that replaces missing teeth. By doing so it addresses multiple issues that teeth-loss causes. These include:

  • Fixing speech problems and pronunciation
  • Restoring the aesthetic appeal of a smile
  • Improving chewing
  • Improving bite and adjusting force distribution across the jaw
  • Stopping your teeth from moving which is a phenomenon that occurs over extended period of tooth-loss

DIGITAL SMILE

Digital smile design is a form of artificial intelligence that is has taken the world of dental aesthetics by storm. This high-tech procedure allows dental practices to be far more efficient and predictable. Our dentists implement AI Digital Smile Design before a Hollywood Smile.

What Is Digital Smile Design

Digital smile design is an effective tool for several cases. For one, it’s extremely helpful in planning your smile and giving your dentist better perspective.

This a very important practice for us, we are careful to give every person their unique smile. One that enhances their natural beauty and complements their facial proportions. To this, we need to take every feature into consideration.

Digital Smile Designs simplifies this process for us and makes it far more accurate too. We can change your smile on this software and see how it fits your face.

This brings us to the second point, which is communication between your dentist and you. Instead of hoping for the best, our dentists can show you your future smile. This gives you the opportunity to make comments or recommend changes.

How Does Digital Smile Design Work?

We have well-trained digital smile design providers who are experts at using this technology. In order to capture the right smile, we need to use an intraoral scanner that’s connected to Digital Smile Design software. This takes pictures and videos of your mouth from inside. Then using a camera we compile videos and pictures of your face from various angles and under several facial expressions.

With Digital Smile Design, we make sure to comprehensively analyse your smile to comprehend the way your gums interact with your lips and teeth.

We pride on ourselves on our exquisite dental team that possesses a flare for art. Which is what Smile Design in general relies on. And what Digital Smile Design needs from technicians to bring the potential of the procedure.

Digital Smile Design With Hollywood Smile

At our clinics, we mostly use Digital Smile Design for Hollywood Smile procedure. Because it’s a procedure where the aesthetic appearance of the Smile matters most.

It completely transforms the smile and for this you need to make sure the person is wearing the right smile. We can’t manufacture veneers unless we are sure of the results. Typically, no veneers are “wrong” if we are talking about fitting.

But how does your smile glove your face after Hollywood Smile procedure? Is it natural looking and unique to you? These answers can all be addressed with Digital Smile Design.

DSD VS Digital Imaging

Digital imaging is common across dental clinics but in essence it doesn’t provide the same predictability as DSD. It doesn’t visually communicate the outcome to patients in the same degree. Likewise, it doesn’t take into considerations the smallest details of your smile or its relationship with your facial features.

Hence it lacks clarity in comparisons to Digital Smile Design.

DENTAL CROWNS

Dental crowns are a category of aesthetic dentistry treatments  that come in tooth-like structures to encase the damaged goods.  Particularly if a tooth is worn-out, decayed, or chipped, dental crowns can restore its aesthetic shape and functions and strengthen it.

Benefits Of Dental Crowns

  • Add protection to brittle teeth by encasing them.
  • Restore the aesthetic appearance of natural teeth
  • Restores the functions of teeth

Types Of Traditional Crowns

1- Temporary Dental Crowns

Temporary dental crowns are the single category of traditional crowns designed on-premises. The material of temporary crowns is typically stainless steel or acrylic-based and is used as an initial solution until a permanent crown is achieved. In the case of children, stainless steel crowns are applied to protect damaged teeth until the primary teeth fall out, and so do the stainless-steel crowns with them.

2- Porcelain/Ceramic Crowns

Porcelain or ceramic crowns are considered the most durable in comparison to their counterparts. They’re also give the most authentic and natural results and are ideal for people with metal allergies.

3- All-Resin Crowns

All resin dental crowns are an economical option compared to alternatives. All-resin crowns serve for the minimal purpose of support compromising on the aesthetic appeal. They are not as long-lasting as porcelain or ceramic and are susceptible to fractures and wear-downs.

4- Metal-Infused Porcelain Crowns

Metal infused porcelain crowns are an ideal alternative that falls between all-metal and all-porcelain crown retaining benefits from either material.  Unlike metals, metal-infused porcelain can be color-matched to natural teeth. However, unlike metal, this category of dental crowns is prone to wear in comparison to the durability of the all-metal crown. In terms of authenticity, ceramic-infused crowns are second only to all-porcelain.

Dental Crowns Procedure For Traditional Crowntr4

The First Appointment

Before starting the design process for dental crowns, a thorough examination of the root should precede it. A few X-rays of your teeth will be requested, and the state of the root will be studied. In case the root is affected, you will have to undergo a root canal treatment before opting for dental crowns.

If all is fine, your dentist will inject local Anastasia to file down the sides of your teeth near the gums to allow room for the crown. Likewise, if you don’t have a enough tooth your dentist uses filling material.

Next comes impression taking. An impression of the gap is in most cases achieved via digital scanning. But sometimes you’ll have to bite on a mould as well. Adjacent, parallel, and neighbor teeth are all considered in the design of the crown to ensure the bite and chewing is not affected.

The scans and design propositions are sent to an offsite laboratory to manufacture your crowns. The manufacturing process takes anywhere between two to three weeks until the crown is sent back to the dentist’s office. Crowns made of acrylic will be applied as a temporary alternative to preserve the prepared tooth.

The Second Visit

During the second visit, the dentist will remove the temporary crown. The permanent crown is inspected and tested in terms of fitting and color. If everything is matched according to plan, the permanent crown is cemented into place.

What Are CEREC Dental Crowns?

CEREC dental crowns is a modern technology that allows you to get your ceramic crowns in one day. This technique is very high tech and uses CAD and CAM for production. Basically it relies on computer assisted design and manufacturing to make your crowns on premises.

These programs allow your dentist to take very precise impressions of your mouth for the best fitting.

Once all your information is on the system, using a 3D printer, your dentist prints out your personalized ceramic crown. This process takes a total of 15 minutes only. Give it another 15-20 minutes for your dentist to cement your crown. And viola! Your quickest dental crown in one visit.

One thing to remember is that if you have dental infections, your dentist will have to postpone your treatment. It’s imperative to treat underlying problems beforehand!

Benefits Of CEREC Crowns

  • Instant placement of ceramic crowns, same-day procedure
  • Extremely natural appearance
  • Very durable

GINGIVAL ESTHETICS

Gingival esthetics is a field of dentistry that focuses on enhancing the appearance of the gum by treating problems to beautify the smile.

We incorporate Smile Design with our gingival aesthetics treatment. This allows us to use CAD/CAM softwares to navigate the smallest details in your smile. This will allow us to show you the final result with extreme accuracy before starting treatment.

Gingival Aesthetics Treatment

We’re specialized in studying the smile and understanding the factors that make a smile perfect. The gums have an equally influential role on the over-all smile as teeth. Because the secret to a glamorous smile is a balance between teeth and gums.

Gingival aesthetics is focused on ensuring that the gums meet the standards of perfection. Our treatments target the following problems:

1- Gum Recession

Receding gums is a phenomenon where the gums retreat beyond the normal margin revealing more of the tooth structure. This condition affects people for various reasons.

Gingival aesthetics resolve this issue either surgically or non-surgically depending on severity.

2- Gingival Enlargement

Gingival enlargement refers to the phenomenon that results in an increase gum tissue growth. The overgrowth makes the teeth appear much smaller than they are and out of proportions.

We treat gingival enlargements through a range of treatments from laser to surgery.

3- Gingival Pigmentation

Gingival pigmentation refers to permanent and stubborn discoloration around the gums. This affects the smile through darkening or eclipsing the pearly glow of your teeth.

We use laser therapy to “evaporate” the melanin causing coloration around and on the the gums.

4- Gummy Smile

Gummy smile or a gingival smile is when too much for your gum shows when smiling. It’s a cause of concern for many, but isn’t impossible to treat.

There are various treatments that we offer to correct a gingival smile. These include orthodontics, veneers, laser gum contouring, and surgery.

What Makes A Smile Perfect?

The role of gingival aesthetics is monumental in creating a perfect smile. Having a smile where 50% of your gums show is a critical factor in gingival aesthetics. Likewise, your teeth need to form a straight line across the gum for an ideal smile.

Not to mention having normal gums that don’t recede or aren’t enlarged. Pigmentation is a no-no whether on the gums or the teeth.
